Gaston County ACCESS
Gaston Access provides demand response transportation including Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), EDTAP, RGP, nutrition, ADC, senior, veteran and contracted services. Serving Gaston County, Gaston Access’ hours of operation are from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Gastonia Transit
With fixed route and complimentary ADA service, Gastonia Transit provides service inside the city limits of Gastonia Monday through Friday 5:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Costs per ride vary on service. A fixed route full fare is $1.25 per ride or 10 rides for $12.00; reduced fare .60 per ride or 10 rides for $6.00. Complimentary ADA service fare is $2.50 per ride or $25.00 for 10 rides. Transportation Administration of Cleveland County (TACC)
Transportation Administration of Cleveland County (TACC) has fixed route, deviated fixed route and demand response for paratransit. Running from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, TACC operates within Cleveland County with daily trips to Gaston County, weekly trips to Mecklenburg County and monthly trips to Asheville’s VA.
Rides cost $1 per ride and $2 for deviations. Base rate is $1.67 per van mile in or out-of-county (plus $25 per hour if the driver is required to wait on a passenger). To schedule a ride with TACC, passengers should please call 704-482-6465 at least 48 hours in advance. Return trip will be scheduled to allow the time passengers need. Passengers may check with the driver as to a return pickup time.

Transportation Lincoln County (TLC)
Transportation Lincoln County (TLC) provides service to Lincoln County and the state of North Carolina as needed from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
TLC’s 22 lift-equipped Light Transit Vehicles cost $1.00 per boarding. Rural general public trips change price depending on zone. Most trips paid by human service agency contract. Riders should call TLC dispatch at (704) 736-2030 to arrange rides.

Iredell County Area Transportation System (ICATS)
Iredell County Area Transportation System (ICATS) offers fixed route, demand response, subscription and commuter express services to Mooresville Main, Statesville Bloom, VA Salisbury, ICATS Express and the Community Connection. ICATS transportation service operates from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday-Friday and Saturday 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Operating 20 lift equipped Light Transit Vehicles (LTSs) and 10 lift equipped high top vans, ICATS costs $1 for local trip and $3 for express trips.

Rowan Transit System (RTS)
Rowan Transit System (RTS) serves Rowan County and has connections to China Grove, Landis and Kannapolis, Salisbury Transit Bus Depot and the Amtrak Station. Running from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, RTS serves a different region of the county Tuesday through Friday. RTS costs $1 per passenger. RTS uses RouteMatch for route planning.
Salisbury Transit System (STS)
Salisbury Transit System (STS) offers fixed route and demand response services. With three fixed routes, STS serves the city limits of Salisbury. STS runs from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. on Sunday. STS costs $1 for all locations.

Stanly County Umbrella Services Agency
Serving all of Stanly County, Stanly County Umbrella Services Agency (SCUSA) provides demand response and subscription services. SCUSA fills demand response needs by working with existing subscriptions, basing routes on demand. Operating from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, SCUSA pricing varies based on scheduling. One-way tickets range from $1.50 to $6.50 based on origin and destination. Appointments are taken between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Riders must call the Transportation Office at least 48 hours in advance to schedule a ride. Services are available on first come/first serve basis. Planning ahead and calling to reserve trips is highly recommended.

Mecklenburg Transportation System (MTS)
Mecklenburg Transportation System (MTS) and Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) both provide transit service to Mecklenburg County. Serving Mecklenburg County, MTS provides subscription and demand response services and runs from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. MTS services cost $1.50 for one-way tickets, with some trips covered by different agencies.

Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS)
From fixed route vehicles, paratransit vehicles, vanpool vehicles to light rail cars, CATS provides service from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday through Saturday, and 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Sunday. CATS services Charlotte, Mecklenburg County including six towns surrounding Charlotte (Davidson, Huntersville, Cornelius, Matthews, Pineville and Mint Hill) and the greater Charlotte region via regional express buses and vanpools. Riders can expect to pay $2.20 for base fixed route fares, $3 for express fare, $4.40 for regional express fair, mileage-based vanpool fares and $3.50 for paratransit fares.

Union Country Transportation (UCT)
Serves Union County, Matthews, Charlotte, Salisbury and occasional trips to the VA in Asheville or Durham. Running from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., UCT requires 48 hours’ notice for scheduling. UCT fares are covered by grant funding (ROAP, 5310, 5307), passenger paid cost of $2.00 for a one-way trip (for ROAP-RGP and ROAP-DOT), and County general fund dollars (for grant matching requirements).

Anson County Transit System (ACTS)
Anson County Transit System provides demand response and subscription services including regular nutritional routes for the elderly to Wadesboro and Morven meal sites and work routes throughout the Town of Wadesboro. ACTS’ service is throughout Anson County from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. ACTS has per hour ($18.64) and per mile ($0.77) costs for each route and rider. Fares are split among passengers on the same route.

York County Access
York County is home to two transit systems: York County Access and the City of Rock Hill’s My Ride. York County Access, operated by the York County Council on Aging and represents a cooperative effort between York County and the City of Rock Hill, provides essential service and ride-to-work service. York County Access serves Rock Hill, Clover and York County from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. with 48 hours advance notice and costs $2.50 each way. To reserve space or to learn more, riders should call the York County Council on Aging at (803) 327-6694, extension 304. Clover residents should call 1-866-607-1910 for assistance.

My Ride
Free to ride, the City of Rock Hill’s My Ride fixed route service has four routes and covers the downtown area of Rock Hill. My Ride operates every day of the week. Monday-Saturday, My Ride operates from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with no service on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Note that downtown/Knowledge Park Loop has extended service Fridays and Saturdays until 9 p.m. My Ride Direct is a supplementary paratransit service for people with disabilities who cannot use the fixed-route system.

Lancaster Area Ride Service (LARS) provides on-demand response services running throughout Lancaster County from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with service broken up based on region Monday through Friday. LARS charges $2 within Lancaster County; $5 to and from Rock Hill and $10 to and from Columbia and Charlotte. Prices represent a one-way ride. Riders should call 803-285-6956 to make LARS transportation reservation at least three business days in advance.
